The Occupational Health and Safety Policy outlines our commitment to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees, our suppliers, our partners, our visitors, and stakeholders associated with Diolkos Development. Our management’s priority is to support and take all necessary measures, as far as practicable, to

while complying with all applicable local, regional, and national laws and regulations and industry standards related to health and safety. Our operations will meet or exceed the minimum requirements set by the relevant authorities to ensure a safe working environment.

Management provides guidance, the necessary resources, and appropriate support required to maintain and implement a sound Health and Safety Management System (H&S) in accordance with the requirements of ISO4500:2018. It also demonstrates a visible commitment to health and safety through

  1. Employees’ responsibility

All employees are responsible for following the procedures and guidelines of the health and safety management system. All without exception are encouraged to co-operate and consult with Management and Supervisors and to promptly report hazards, incidents and/or unsafe health and safety conditions and to take care of themselves and others in the same work environment.

Risk Analysis & Hazard Control

  1. Risk Analysis

At Diolkos Development, we conduct regular analyses to identify potential risks and assess the relevant risks in our offices and on the construction sites where we operate. These analyses are documented and describe control measures to mitigate or eliminate the identified risks.

  1. Hazard Control

We establish and maintain effective procedures and controls to minimize risks in the workplace. This includes providing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), implementing engineering controls and ensuring the safe use, storage and handling of equipment, materials and substances.

Training and Communication

  1. Employee Training

We provide training, instruction, guidance, and advice to ensure that employees are competent and that the tasks assigned to them fall within their skills, knowledge, and competence in order to eliminate accidents in the workplace and promote a responsible health and safety culture

  1. Interactive and Continuous Communication

We recognize that improvements in health and safety issues result from the cooperation and communication of management and staff at all levels, so we encourage in every way the active participation of stakeholders in formulating proposals to improve health and safety conditions.

We set health and safety system effectiveness targets for continuous improvement, which are reviewed at set intervals and revised when necessary.
